Kahlua – IN MEMORY-Our dear sweet Kahlua was a 13 year old red and white Siberian Husky, she passed away June 6th 2010 and will forever be in our hearts!! Bonny had her since she was 7 weeks old. She was a born and bred Tennessean that loved being an Indiana transplant! All the snow we got made her days extra fun! She was a very loving pet who changed the lives of all who met her! She will always be dearly missed!
Eeyore – Eeyore is a chubby bay (brown body with black mane and tail) miniature horse that is 14 years old. He has been Bonny’s pet for 13 1/2 years. When she first got him, he was 6 months old and an average adult could stand over his back without touching him! He used to walk around the pasture with his head down and acted like Eeyore the donkey so that is how he got his name. Now he is is truly “Eeyore with an attitude!” and happy to give kisses for treats! Eeyore usually only goes to parties as a buddy to keep the other ponies company. He is more like a big dog than a pony!
Jubilee – Jubi is a 16 year old black Tennessee Walking Horse with a white star on his face, and our only horse. If you look closely, you can see his star is in the shape of a heart with an arrow through it! This is very fitting because his loving personality and wonderful spirit has definitely captured our hearts. Bonny first met and fell in love with him about 10 years ago in Tennessee when he was a sheriff’s office horse. Many years later, he found her again and has been with us ever since. He was meant to be for us and holds a very special place in our hearts. This year, he and Bonny were able to ride as the “Headless Horseman” at Conner Prairie…what fun!! He is not available for parties but occasionally he will be used for riding lessons.
Callan – Callan is a 2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is a bundle of energy and a great joy to all who know him. You can’t miss those ears when you meet him!
Sydney – Sydney is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix. We found her at a horse auction in Shipshewana. She has been a great companion to our children and a wonderful compliment to our farm. Every farm has to have a farm dog, for us that is definitely Sydney!
Max -Max the barn cat. He is a large black and white cat who will be one of the first to greet you! If you sit down, beware, he will be in your lap before you know it!
Peanut -Peanut the barn cat is our orange and white scaredy cat!
As you can see we have quite the full house this year!
IN MEMORY-We would like to take a moment to remember a special member of our animal family who passed away. Our sweet barn cat, Moose. He was a little over a year old, black and white with a black spot on his nose like he stuck his nose in paint! He was very loving and always under foot. He will be missed!!
